As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to enhance components across systems or applications, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions. You will also be responsible for problem-solving and providing innovative solutions to challenges faced by your team and other departments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft Financials.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with PeopleSoft Development, PeopleSoft PeopleTools.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies.
- Proficiency in database management and SQL.
- Experience with integration of PeopleSoft with other applications and systems.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft Financials.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
