As a Security Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the security posture of enterprise systems and applications. Your typical day will involve analyzing vulnerabilities, collaborating with team members to devise effective security solutions, and implementing measures to protect sensitive information and infrastructure from potential cyber threats. You will also participate in discussions to share insights and contribute to the overall security strategy of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Conduct regular assessments of application vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to enhance the organization's security framework.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Application Vulnerability Management Operations.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security testing.
- Familiarity with incident response and threat intelligence.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Application Vulnerability Management Operations.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
