Senior Business Analyst with AEM

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expertise to join our digital experience team. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams, ensuring business objectives are translated into clear requirements and delivered successfully.

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Subject Matter Expert:

• Serve as the primary AEM resource for business and project teams.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and related digital experience solutions.

• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.

• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA teams, content authors, and product owners throughout the project lifecycle.

• Provide guidance on AEM best practices, content authoring experiences, templates, components, workflows, and content governance.

• Support solution design discussions and ensure proposed solutions align with business goals.

Agile Delivery & Scrum:

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Partner with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain the product backlog.

• Ensure user stories are clearly defined, properly groomed, and ready for development.

• Identify dependencies, risks, and gaps that may impact delivery timelines.

• Support release planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:

• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements-gathering meetings.

• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, marketing teams, compliance teams, product managers, and IT teams.

• Facilitate discussions to align business needs with technical solutions.

• Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.

• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements Management & Documentation:

• Create and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and test scenarios.

• Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with business objectives.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and validation activities.

• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately tested and validated.

• Assist with release documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer activities.

Digital Experience & Web Platform Support:

• Support initiatives related to website enhancements, digital experience optimization, and content management.

• Collaborate with technical teams to understand web architecture, integrations, and platform capabilities.

• Participate in discussions regarding website performance, scalability, accessibility, and user experience.

• Assist in documenting business requirements for integrations, APIs, and third-party services.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in Agile delivery environments.

• 3+ years of experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.

• Experience managing product backlogs and writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and cross-functional discussions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and related Agile project management tools.

• Understanding of web technologies, content management systems, and digital experience platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products.

• Familiarity with Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, or similar CDN/WAF platforms.

• Understanding of website traffic routing, caching strategies, and content delivery concepts.

• Knowledge of web application security and website performance optimization principles.

• Experience working with cloud-hosted AEM environments.

• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and third-party service integrations.

• Experience supporting website migrations, platform upgrades, or digital transformation initiatives.
